Evan Cowan

Evan, son of Vanessa, has been dancing at VanDance since the age of three. He took part in RAD Ballet as well as Gilbert Tap exams throughout his dance training. Evan trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop and was always known to love the stage! He was a chip off the old block when it came to the performance end of dancing.



Evan has had some great opportunities in his dance career, winning many workshop scholarships and awards. He has attended classes in a variety of cities work shopping and performing. He was able to perform with New West Theatre in Dear Santa as well as last summer 2010, cast as a dancer.



Evan has also performed on a variety of Royal Caribbean ships through the stars at sea program.



Even though Evan has had a blast getting back into the dance scene this season, he has decided that next year he will need to pursue his education and first love, golf. He will be moving to Kelowna to play for UBC, the Okanogan campus. Evan will be instructing Hip Hop at this summer's VanDance workshop for 6-11 year olds in July!
